Created specifically for Plumen bulbs by British Designer Luke Deering, the Hive lamp shade is an elegant biomorphic design that draws on the natural grace of the honeycomb structure.

Through the exploration of the latest 3D printing technology, the new Hive shades are printed in PLA bioplastic; made up of 90% recycled plastic and other plant based resources and completely biodegradable.

Housed within the tessellating hexagonal design, the soft curves and calm light of the 002 shine through. The shade works to frame the bulb, allowing its beauty to be enjoyed while directing its light downwards. Together, they become a unified and natural objet d’art.

The shade comes with a 002 LED bulb and a choice of 6 colours: White, Black, Moss Green, Gold, Orange and Blue, or you can use our bespoke service for a colour of your choice. You can also choose from a chrome, brass or copper pendant.

This item is made to order in the UK and delivery may take up to 6 weeks.
